Thierry Delarue was born in Australia in 1970 and grew up in the French West Indies and the Australian Outback where his French opal miner parents live today.  Thierry studied Architecture and Industrial Design in Australia and France and is currently based in Singapore.

In 2003 he decided to turn a passionate hobby into a vocation, which was when he launched his first solo photographic exhibition called ‘Sensuality’.  Since then he has mounted several shows in a number of galleries in Singapore. 

Following the Sensuality series, Thierry launched an exhibition on Angkor and Indochina ‘Encore Angkor’, and another show on Japan and the world of Geisha ‘Hitori Tabi’.

New projects for 2006 include plans for going international, and a new book titled ‘Asian Nudes’ is currently under development.
